• Krzysztof Kokoryn

  Born in 1964 in Szczytno. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Graduated in 1993 under tutorage of Prof Rajmund Ziemski.

• Krzysztof Kokoryn’s paintings uniquely combine fusion and expression. Their characters – musicians and circus artists, animals, trees and coffee machines bear a characteristic heavy load of a sculpture. Kokoryn tries to include the entire story in one gesture, one object or one character. The painting theme, the briefness of the form and the swaths of pure colour surrounded by a thick black contour create a seductive style of those paintings.
