• Kalina Horoń

  Born in 1992 in Cracow. Studied at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow and Universität für angewandte Kunst in Vienna. Obtained her diploma at the painting department of prof. Andrzej Bednarczyk. Currently living and working in Vienna.

• Inspired by experimental violin music, Horoń creates vivid abstractions on black bacground. In her art, she reproduces musical stresses and harmonies. Paints quickly similar to the American Expressionists, using a wide range of tools, from sprays through markers to oil sticks. In her art, she focuses on humour and believes that happiness means harmony with joy which permeates the chaos of the contemporary world.
