Horizontals and verticals, a balanced composition, a search for pure plastic arts through a reduction of means – in Radek Zielonka’s paintings there is an echo of neoplasticism of Piet Mondrian and other Dutch artists of De Stijl movement.
The painting of neoplasticism has become abstract as diverging from nature means disregarding it.
– wrote Mondrian –Diverging from nature is deepening.
According to Radeka painting must be something more than just a canvas hanging on the wall; it must be relevant to many issues such as place, time, plot.
He does not limit his artistic search to painting; he is also interested in sculpture, installation and video arts.
