• Barbara Marta Pawlak

  Researcher and art curator. A graduate of the Faculty of Artistic Research and Curatorial Studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She has collaborated with Polish and international institutions, including the Museum of the Academy of Fine Arts, the Centre of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko, the Museum of Warsaw, and BBA Gallery in Berlin.

• Her academic work has focused on the oeuvre of Polish artists: her bachelor’s thesis examined Paweł Freisler’s “art of intrigue,” while her master’s thesis explored male sensitivity in the paintings of Patryk Różycki.

  Privately, she is interested in contemporary Polish theatre, the art market, and broadly understood pop culture.
