• Maciej Przybylski

  Born in 1972 in Poznań. He studied at the Poznań State Higher School of Fine Arts (today's University of Arts) at the Faculty of Painting, Graphics and Sculpture. He made his diploma under the supervision of Prof. Tadeusz Jackowski and Prof. Bogdan Wojtasiak in 1999. Long-time teacher, since 2013 professor at the University of Arts in Poznań.

• He works in the field of painting, drawing and music. Formerly a figurative and portrait painter, fascinated by the art of Bacon, Freud, Balthus, currently an abstractionist, a painter of matter. In art, he values experimentation, exploration of new ideas. He likes matte and rough texture and claims that shine kills color.
