  Born in 1970. Attended the University of Bologna, where he graduated with distinction from the studio of Prof. Concetto Pozzati in 1995. He was invited to the prestigious Collegio Venturoli as one of the five most promising Italian artists. He is a long-time artistic director at ad agencies, including Publicis Italia, Young&Rubicam Poland, and Just. Since 2001, he has been the founder and co-creator of Polish leading artistic material brand Renesans.

• Cristiano Piccinini wants painting to be close to life. His seemingly realistic paintings are deeply mystical. The oil paintings are created on the basis of private photos found online, but strangers’ photos and experiences depicted in a painting take on a universal dimension. He considers painting the human figure to be the greatest challenge. He translates his many years of experience working in advertising into painting: he wants to speak directly about important aspects of human existence.
