She is a twenty-first century mystic who records her epiphanies with a Polariod camera, a digital camcorder as well as by drawing on advertisements torn out of the glossy magazines. She detects mysticalities everywhere: using a silver felt-tip pen she draws a flare of light - ‘Descent of the Holy Spirit’ - on a class trip photo; she adds a golden halo to a model from a photo-shoot picture making her look like one of the saints from Trecent’s works.
Recently she’s been interested in the end of the world, catastrophes and aesthetics of decay. She has been on a scholarship in Switzerland to learn about the scientific grounds for modern apocalypse predictions. During her stay she has visited renowned universities, talked to astronomers, physicists and mathematicians. It resulted in publishing a book - a visual essay entitled ‘Free Doom’. One will not find out from it when does the world end though.
