Cosmetic packaging, plants, letters and geometric figures are changed into signs and symbols. Jolanta Wagner populates her works with things – faint and fragile. She draws them, paints them and builds objects and installations with them. In her drawings, she continuously inventories the objects, tidies up, creates rhythmic sets – they are her ‘diaries’, ‘notebooks’; a record of everyday life and passing time.
