Studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz.
In Przemek Truściński’s pop-culture-like Arcadia young women drink coffee and apply lipstick – his advert storyboards are styled as comic book frames. They illustrate scenarios invented by corporations and advertising agencies. The illustrations made ad hoc while the client is waiting make us realise how suggestive the language of adverts can be. The strength of Truściński’s storyboards comes from their straightforwardness, simplicity of communication and the aesthetics of pleasure.
